We had another audit last week. So, this morning was the follow up meeting with the management and staff. It amazes me how fucked up people can be. How much they argue about how hard all of this is. And then come up with these elaborate plans for circumventing the system. And in the end, make even more work for themselves.
At the same time, we've had three customer complaints. Instead of admitting they fucked up and sent bad material to the customer, they are trying to bullshit their way through. Put the blame on other people, or use creative reporting to cover up the facts of what they did.
Isn't Arthur Anderson a good enough lesson? Or Enron, Martha Stewart or any of the rest of the greedy asshole motherfuckers who run these businesses? Do they really think they are smarter then the ones who've already been caught?
And my boss is asking why I didn't explode in the meeting. What good does it do? Calling them assholes only makes them more defensive and less likely to listen to what I'm trying to tell them.
Oh GAWD, my boss is now whistling Oklahoma from his office next door. AAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!
I need to go get coffee.
