Ok, so Tuesday morning, I ran out, jumped in the car and ............. click, click, click. Dead battery. And it was fine on Monday night. Not sure what happened there. So I called work to let them know I wouldn't be in for the morning staff meeting. Called my sister to see if she could run me up to buy a new one.

I could have gone back to where I bought this one, two years ago, since it would have been a cheap replacement. But the fact that it only lasted two years and died so abruptly, I decided to go to a regular auto parts store to buy a new one.

And then, next week I have to call to schedule the car in the shop for some major work. (The convertable top is really showing it's age. I dread every time it rains, since I'm usually soaked from all the leaks.) I'm waiting for Lynn to get back from Colorado, before I schedule it, since it will have to be left for several days.

Speaking of Lynn coming back....he should be on the road now. After almost two months of living in Colorado, he's coming home today. Although alone time is nice, it is a bit more comforting, having the sounds of someone else around. The pitter patter of little feet running around night. (Baby's feet, not Lynn's. Although, with the paws on that dog, I don't know that you can really classify them as little.) So I guess I'll have to go back to being modest and not jo in whatever room I happen to be in.
