Not a good day, but better now

I had to work at the store today. Although I didn't really want to get up and go in, I did. Anymore, that's just about every day, go figure. Anyway, the morning was busy, but I really prefer it that way. It definitely makes the time go by quicker. I was only scheduled a short shift, from 10 - 2. By 1:00, I was starting the feel one of those wonderful sinus headaches coming on. But I was working with 4 customers, so I couldn't really say, I'll be back later, I'm taking a break.

By 1:45, the cold sweats, throbbing pain and nausea were only hitting. I told somebody I was taking my break and headed in the sit down for a few minutes. Yeah, I know, waiting until 15 minutes before I'm scheduled to be off to take a break doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but it was that kind of day.

I finally got out of the store about 2:15. I called and left Lynn a message, since he was coming in to work at 2:30, that I would probably pass him on the highway, and hopefully I didn't puke in the car.

I walked in and found he was still home. He misread his schedule and thought do in at 3:30. So he had to rush out the door. I immediately went in and knelt at the alter and gave my donation to the porcelain gods.

Went in and took some pills and laid down. I finally got up at 8:00. The headache is still there in the background, but I'm feeling much better. The bad thing, I had stuff I needed to do today, and none of it got done.
