Went to visit mom last night, since I had to work all day today. Took her a card and an azalea for Mother's Day. She seemed happy. Partly because I haven't had a chance to go over and see her since her birthday. She insisted on fixing us dinner, even though she had already eaten.

Had to go into work at 8:00 this morning for a meeting. I was already scheduled in at 11:00. The meeting lasted until 10:30, so I just worked on through. By this afternoon, my legs were starting to ache and I was developing one of my wonderful sinus headaches. Got off at 5:30 and came home and laid down for a couple of hours.

By the time I woke up, the nausea had subsided enough that I was able to take some drugs. Lynn and I ran over and got coffee and then stopped by Applebee's. I still wasn't feeling very well, so I ate a few chips, while Lynn had dinner.

We came home and watched the season finale of Charmed. Another cliff hanger that I'll have to wait 3 months to see the outcome. I'll have to wait until Tuesday night to see SFU and QAF, since that's my next night off.

Now it's time for bed. I have a pretty busy week coming up. I have to spend Tuesday and Wednesday in a training class I've already sat through, simply because my boss wants to make sure this guy gives the same information as the last one. It doesn't matter that he sat through the same class, the last time. I've been elected as the sacrificial lamb.

Hope everyone had a good Mother's Day. Either as a mother or with your mother. To gigaquad, I know it's rough, but with time, it will get easier. Don't second guess yourself, you are making the right choices. Your mother raised you well and she lives on in you.
